A 13 year old boy has died in Hospital following a scrambler crash in Co.Londonderry.
The schoolboy came off the bike at a track near Ballerena just outside Limavady yesterday afternoon.
Two rescue helicopters were scrambled to the scene where he was then airlifted to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.
Medical teams rushed the boy to emergency surgery.
It's understood he passed away as a result of his injuries.
A HM Coastguard helicopter from Prestwick attended alongside the Irish Coastguard Rescue from Sligo.
Ground teams from Coleraine, The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the PSNI attended the scene.
