It happened near Fegan's Quarry on Madden Road in Keady early on Tuesday.
Police say the blaze "totally destroyed" more than 300 cars at the yard.
They're treating it as arson and are trying to establish a motive.
Anyone with information can get in contact by calling 101.
In a statement NIFRS said “Six Fire Appliances from Armagh, Keady, Portadown, Banbridge and Newtownhamilton Fire Stations were in attendance along with a Water Tanker from Warrenpoint Fire Station and a Command Support Unit from Lisburn Fire Station.
"The Fire Emergency Support Service vehicle was deployed to the scene as Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using jets and hosereel jets dealt with the fire at a scrapyard in the area."
