Man left in a serious condition following an assault on Waterloo Street in the early hours of Sunday morning
A man had to be taken to hospital following a serious assualt in Derry-Londonderry overnight The incident happened on Waterloo Street around half past one in the morning.
Police believe that the man was in an altercation with two other individuals. A PSNI spokesperson said " that possibly a number of other men came to try and break up the fight".
Police added that anyone who may have witnessed the incident, should get in touch with them
