"Back in the day" it really was something special, a very proud addition to Ballymena's much more meagre sporting offer of the 1980s. But at 'thirtysomething' many say it's beginning to show its years!
Now North Antrim MLA Paul Frew has weighed in. He feels Mid and East Antrim Borough Council should consider replacing it with a brand new facility. He's citing inadequate equipment even foul smells coming from the drains.
Emergency repairs will be taking place at the Seven Towers Centre in the coming months. Council has also commissioned a full architectural condition survey of the building.
