Traffic calming measures are to be implemented in five areas of Mid-Ulster.
Riverside Drive and Forth Glen in Cookstown, Eglish, Cloneen near Dungannon and Sixtowns Road at Straw will all benefit.
Details were released by Department of Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard.
That was in response to a tabled Assembly question by the DUP Assemblyman Keith Buchanan.
Residents had highlighted concerns about road safety.
