Over the last few days, police say there's been a number of cars broken into in the Mid Ulster area with items of value taken.
Particularly in Cookstown and Ballygawley where a quantity of wallets and purses were removed from vehicles.
PSNI have posted the photograph shown (right), to show local people how easy it is for thieves to identify items of value.
They're also reminding people that if they are leaving their vehicle unattended to:
- Park in a well lit area with CCTV where possible
- Ensure your vehicle is locked
- Hide items of value from public view
- Report suspicious activity to police
