A west Belfast woman who suffered severe brain injuries following a vicious assault in 2016 has passed away.
Joleen Corr was 27 - and died yesterday at a hospice in her mother's arms.
The mother-of-one was assaulted in her home in Thomas Russell Park area of Downpatrick in 2016 - and required 24 hour care ever since.
A court ruling in March resulted in medical staff withdrawing all food and fluids from Joleen, due to the severity of her pain.
