Two Irish League brothers are being praised for saving a life on their way home from a game last night.
Jay and Rory Donnelly helped Cliftonville to a 3-0 win at Ballymena and had travelled back to Belfast on the M2.
The club chairman Gerard Lawlor has tweeted they stopped a lad from jumping off the Fortwilliam roundabout and talked to him in the rain until police arrived.
Lawlor added he hoped it all ended safely for the lad.
Fair play to our players @JaayD99 & @rorydonnelly92 for their actions tonight, stopped a lad from jumping off Fortwilliam roundabout and talked to him in the rain until Police arrived. Hope it all ends safely for the lad.
