The firm which has a depot in Omagh, and another in Co. Offaly, has created 3 new jobs as part of the investment and plans to create another 10 positions later this year.
Speaking about the new brand, which was two years in the making, Mr Thompson said it was the "complete dog food for working, sporting and active breeds".
It has been trialed with crufts champions, Irish and British champions who have given positive feedback.
