Newry Unite community branch has begun surveying traffic at an accident blackspot.
It's happening on the old Warrenpoint Road from today until Friday.
The road is also under a six-week review by the department for Infrastructure.
It follows an ongoing white picket campaign for road safety measures and a speed limit review.
