Police in Derry/Londonderry are appealing for fresh information after a rioter threw an ignited petrol bomb at a moving van.
The white transit van was attacked whilst travelling down the Lecky Road near the Bogside Inn around 8:30pm on Thursday 12th July.
The new appeal follows a video clip that has been circulating on social media for a week, capturing the incident.
Police are appealing to any members of public with any information to phone 101 quoting reference number 964 of 13/07/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
