A 'viable' device has been found near the garden of a house in Newtownabbey.
A security alert was sparked when residents found a suspicious object in Mayfield Village on Saturday evening.
Army bomb teams responded to the scene and confirmed the device was viable.
It's since been taken away for further examination.
Some residents had been evacuated, and the Lillian Bland pavillion had been made available.
Residents have since been allowed to return to their properties.
