Security at key transport links and iconic sites across Northern Ireland has been increased following the terrorist attack in London on Saturday.
There's been a notable increase in presence of Tactical Support Group officers in the Newry area.
Police armed with assault rifles were reassuring commuters at Newry train station during rush hour this morning.
Patrols were also stretched to the bus station and city centre in general.
The special officers are expected to remain highly visible in the coming weeks.
