A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a car he was driving veered off the road and ripped out a lamppost in Co Down.
The shocking incident happened outside a garage on Mill Street in Newtownards at around 5.50am on Friday morning.
It was captured on CCTV.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a vehicle colliding with a lamp post on Mill Street, Newtownards at around 5.50 am on Friday, May 22.
"Officers attended and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of a number of motoring offences, including driving when unfit through drink or drugs, driving whilst disqualified, dangerous driving and using a motor vehicle without insurance."
Last night he remained in police custody.
