Derry City made it 8 games unbeaten in the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Premier Division last night.

The Candystripes played out a goalless draw with Dundalk at Oriel Park.

It follows a 3-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers, after draws with Limerick and Galway.

The result leaves Kenny Shiels' men fourth in the table, and four points behind last night's opponents.

Next up for them is a trip to Drogheda in the league on Friday.

Dundalk meanwhile are sitting in second, but 15 points behind leaders Cork City.

The Candystripes are 19 off the summit.
