City of Derry flanker named in Ulster squad

City of Derry's Kelly Gormley has been named in the Ulster Rugby Women's team.

The flanker has been joined by former Derry player Beth Cregan in the extended line-up.

Gemma McCutcheon will captain the women for the 2016/2017 season.

Five of the unbeaten Ulster U18 Women’s Team have also been added to the squad.

Hannah Beattie, Storm Cobain, Brigid Collins, Shirelle Wilson, Ilse Van Staden, Aisling O'Connell, Beth Cregan, Naomi McCullagh, Sapphire Dudley, Gemma McCutcheon, Kelly Gormley, Lesley Megarity, Sorcha Mac Laimhin, Shauna Martin and Lauren Maginnes.

Kathryn Dane, Imogen Porter, Shannon Davidson, Claire McLaughlin, Amy Davis, Leah McGoldrick, Eliza Downey, Peita McAlisiter, Brittany Hogan, Teah Maguire, Vicky Irwin, Maeve Liston, Jemma Jackson, Claire Johnston and Emma Jordan. 

Ulster will host Munster Women in their first inter-provincial game of the season at Kingspan on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
