Bannsiders look to put 1-0 reverse to Cliftonville behind them with the visit of the Lurgan Side

Coleraine have only tasted defeat twice this season, the most recent of those coming against Cliftonville last weekend.  The 1-0 defeat at Solitude ended a five-game unbeaten run in all competitions for the Bannsiders.

However, a midweek 2-0 win in the North West Cup semi-final against Moyola Park, will have helped regain some momentum for the Stripes.  Next up though is the visit of Glenavon to the Showgrounds, with recent results between the two sides showing no real positives for Coleraine.

Coleraine failed to even register a goal in their four games with the Lurgan side last season, however Oran Kearney's men seem a different prospect this year.  Unbeaten at  home the stripes have made one of their best starts to the season in recent memory.  They sit just a point behind Saturday's opponents with the Mourneview Aces having played a game more.

Glenavon have had somewhat of a dip in form themselves.  After a promising start to the season, Gary Hamilton's men now find themselves without a win in their last three.  Their 1-0 win over Ards was the last time the Lurgan outfit tasted victory.  However, draws away to both Dungannon Swifts and Glentoran are results that will not cause too much concern.

Kick off is Saturday 3pm at the Showgrounds
