Bannsiders suffer a third consecutive defeat with a 1-0 defeat to Glenavon on Saturday

Coleraine suffered a third consecutive league defeat at the weekend, this time to Glenavon.  Rhys Marshall's second half goal was enough to secure all three points for the Lurgan Blues.

The result follows defeats for Coleraine to Carrick Rangers and Cliftonville in the past fortnight.

Oran Kearney's men stay in fifth, one point ahead of last Saturday's opponents, having played a game more.  And next up for the Stripes is the small matter of Tuesday's league cup semi-final with bitter rivals Ballymena.

Coleraine are now six points behind the fourth-placed Sky Blues, with the top four rapidly moving away from the Bannsiders.
