Derry's minor footballers are the Ulster Minor Football Champions for 2017.

The young Oak Leafers beat Cavan 1-22 to 2-12, earning a second Ulster title in three seasons for Damian McErlain's men.

There was only four points between the sides, heading into the latter stages at Clones.

However a 52nd minute goal from Ben McCarron sealed the title for Derry.
