Striker Andrew Mitchell has moved from Glentoran to Coleraine.

It's initially on loan till the end of the season, with a permanent three-year deal kicking in from the summer.

He signed for Glentoran in January 2020 and scored twice in 35 games for the east Belfast side.

The 28-year-old could make his debut on Saturday when league leaders Linfield visit Ballycastle Road.

Coleraine are currently sixth in the Danske Bank Premiership table.

Here's a review of the mid-week games and a look ahead to the next set of fixtures.

First up is the Friday night clash with Ballymena hosting Ciftonville.

The Mitchell move was the second transfer of the day from the BetMcLean Oval.

One of the stars of the clean sweep-winning women's team is off to Glasgow - Annie Timoney has signed for Celtic.
