Ulster begin their United Rugby Championship campaign on Friday when they welcome Glasgow Warriors to Kingspan Stadium.

Dan McFarland's side begin their season on a high after a big friendly win over Saracens and the boost of signing South African World Cup winner Duane Vermeulen last week. He's not available until after the autumn internationals.

There will be 15,000 fans inside Kingspan Stadium for the game, with this the biggest rugby crowd in Northern Ireland since the outbreak of Covid-19.

Ulster are chasing down defending champions Leinster, while the addition of four new South African franchises to the league will add to the competition.

The squad was named on Thursday:

Duane Vermeulen - available after the autumn internationals
