The Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity square occupies one of the capital's finest buildings: the old Port of London Authority headquarters in Tower Hill even playing a starring role in the 2012 James Bond film "Skyfall". This Grade II-listed building designed by the renowned architect Sir Edwin Cooper is as striking inside as out. The sweeping Rotunda all-day bar-restaurant, with its original wall and dome immediately creates a wow factor.

The programme of music and live entertainment here is inspired by the influential Dixieland and American jazz of early 1920s Britain. Deluxe and Premier rooms all feature king-size beds and marble-clad bathrooms. Even better are the heritage suites with high ceilings, original plasterwork and a fireplace with funky TV mirror. The spa situated at basement level is a design triumph by the Italian Joseph Caspari. On arrival you are immediately impressed by the spacious gold style reception area all followed by a warm and professional welcome. Featuring eight treatment rooms, including one Spa Suite and a luxury Hammam, a 14-metre swimming pool, sauna and steam room, this haven of serenity is now the finest hotel spa in the capital.

Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square is also home to the first U.K. restaurant by French chef Anne-Sophie Pic. This casually elegant dining space showcases the chef’s unusual flavour combination all guided by her discerning sense of taste and smell based on intuition and emotion. Across the hallway at "Mei Ume", authentic Chinese and Japanese dishes are presented in a more informal setting. The hotel offers easy access to some of the city’s most popular attractions
– including the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern and Borough Market – but there’s plenty to explore within the city too. One of the best ways to explore is by river and for guests staying here it couldn’t be easier. With Tower Pier and access to the Thames Clipper river bus services only moments walk away, make the most of the opportunity to see a selection of the finest historical landmarks and sites in one easy trip.

World famous for its architecture, history and traditions, London is a city that never rests. Various shopping districts and street markets offer everything from designer labels to bargains, while it is also well worth stopping by one of the most popular department stores - Harrods, Knightsbridge. This eight-storey building is an ideal place for shoppers as well as a popular tourist attraction. Fantastic for window shopping, the food hall alone is worth seeing. My favourite "Selfridges" on Oxford Street have everything from designer clothes to high street brands, books, furniture and more. London’s "Borough Market" is a must visit destination for foodies.  Located just across the river from Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, the market has been serving the people of Southwark for more than 1,000 years.

The National Gallery dominates Trafalgar Square where the finest examples of European art, ranging from 1260 to 1900, are included among the 2,300 paintings filling its halls and rooms. Works on display include those of Botticelli, Monet and Van Gogh.www.nationalgallery.co.uk Rates at Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square start from £680 per room per night based on two adults sharing an Executive Room on a room-only basis.
