The Hebridean Princess has offered an unparalleled service for many years on varied itineraries, mainly Scottish, most departing from Oban. Only 50 guests are catered for, by around 38 crew members, as she sails Scotland’s Western Isles, one of the most beautiful coast lines of Northern Europe. The Hebridean Princess experience is so appealing that Queen Elizabeth chartered it twice for family holidays. In recent years the ship underwent a full refurbishment of her public rooms. In the main lounge, a cosy and welcoming interior has been created that provides an intimate area for guests focusing around the original fireplace.

Meanwhile there are many other smaller public areas including a nice library, a conservatory and a look-out lounge. There are also extensive areas of outside deck from which to enjoy the views: including most of the boat deck, the large rear Skye Deck, and sheltered promenade decks. Each cabin has its own particular style, and the "Tiree lounge" with its stone fireplace offers guests captivating views. The dining experience on board the Hebridean Princess is superb. Fine dining is the order of the day and during the course of a week you will work your way through a hugely varied set of menus. The Hebridean Princess also places a strong emphasis on no entertainment - with the occasional impromptu musical evening on the Skye Deck. Films are screened every evening on your television and informal entertainment is arranged from time to time.

These all-inclusive cruises offer all of your meals, beverages (including alcohol), onshore excursions, gratuities, port taxes, internet, use of the onboard bicycles and even travel insurance without incurring any additional charges. In fact, the only time you will have to spend anything else is if you choose to indulge in one of the premium wine selections, make a purchase from the on board gift shop or request a tour which doesn’t feature on the itinerary. The tours ashore are also relaxing and informative. For the energetic or adventurous, there are ship bicycles for guests’ use ashore, while speedboat rides and fishing trips can be arranged at no extra cost. Guest speakers will enhance your cruise experience on selected cruises as world class experts invited for their authority and genuine passion for their subject talk on relevant themes. The various itineraries feature the islands that surround Scotland’s coast, allowing you to discover a range of stunning landscapes and learn all about the heritage of this proud country. These trips not only take in destinations within the Hebrides but also those which lie in the Clyde.

Therefore, some of the islands you will visit include Arran, Bute, Skye and Ulva; all from Hebridean Island Cruises’ home port of Oban. Hebridean Princess is a member of Pride of Britain Hotels - a consortium of privately-owned independent British hotels, resorts and unique experiences. Early 2017 season offers include a Links, Lochs and Sounds, sailing from Oban on Tuesday 16th – Tuesday 23rd May 2017 – 7 nights including 2 Gala Dinners.
