27 year old due in court following assault on police in Armagh

A 27 year old man is due in court in Armagh on a number of charges including assault on police.

It's understood the charges are linked to an incident in the city's Railway street area last night during which a police officer was attacked.

The accused also faces charges of criminal damage, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.
