A man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Belfast city centre earlier this month.
A 37-year-old man was left in a critical condition in hospital following the incident at a flat in the Great Victoria Street area on 3rd August.
The 30-year-old suspect was detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, aggravated burglary with intent and possessing an offensive weapon.
He remains in police custody at this time.
