Fifty-six jobs at Armagh Jobs and Benefits Office have been saved.
It follows the reversal of plans to transfer Social Fund services from the Alexander Road base to Dungannon.
It's understood the staff will now stay in their current roles.
Meanwhile a hundred and twenty new jobs have been announced.
Customer management centre HCL is creating the roles in Armagh.
Some positions will be based in Belfast.
The average salary for the jobs is£12,500.
