Three men with a gun have forced their way into a house during an aggravated burglary in west Belfast.
The PSNI were called to a home on Earlscourt Street just before 9pm last night.
We're told the trio had gone in brandishing the firearm before making demands.
They then made off on foot, two along Earlscourt Street and the third towards Cavendish Street.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with what happened and he's still in custody.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detective Sergeant Kelly is appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Musgrave Police Station on 101 quoting reference number 1661 of 08/12/17.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
