An arrest has been made after a string of house thefts in Camlough and Keady over the weekend.
It's understood the person, who was arrested at a fuel station, is part of a Dublin gang.
The car they were in sped off towards the border as they were caught.
Officers, who met with community representatives yesterday, say the getaway car is a silver Skoda saloon with southern registration plates, though the plates may be changed or fake.
Neighbourhood wardens and locals are being urged to be vigilant and to lock up.
