A body has been found in the River Bann during the search for a missing Coleraine Man.
56 year old John Thompson was last seen around midday on Saturday in the Portstewart Area.
Police say a formal identification and post mortem will take place on the remains which were discovered this afternoon.
They say the man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
John was described as being 5’10” tall, with dark brown hair at the time of his disappearance.
He was last seen wearing blue 3/4 length shorts and a red raincoat.
It is believed he may have had a bicycle with his at the time he went missing.
