The closure of Rathowen Nursing Home will be a "great loss to the remaining residents and staff", that's from a family member who's mother was a resident there.
Judith Carville Hutchinson's mother was a resident for 10 years but sadly passed away three years ago. She said the staff were "the most caring and dedicated team we as a family could ever have hoped for.
"They not only cared for my mum but were fantastic to us as a family through a very emotional time."
In a statement the Tandragee nursing home announced it would be closing at the end of the month displacing 16 residents and affecting 30 staff members.
Management has cited a difficulty in recruiting and retaining staff as the reason for closing.
