Consultation open on new city bus service

Translink is launching a public consultation from Monday 22^nd May on changes to Ulsterbus Foyle City Services.

Pending a public consultation, a rebranded 'Foyle Metro' is to be implemented this autumn.

Translink says its a result of investment in the North West, which includes a new fleet of buses.

Alan Young, Ulsterbus Service Delivery Manager in Derry~Londonderry said: “We want to offer an attractive modern bus service that keeps the city on the move and supports the growth and prosperity of the area."

The route maps and consultation surveys are available online at www.translink.co.uk/foylecityservices/ or leaflets and maps can be picked up at Foyle Street Bus Station. There will also be a series of public roadshows across the city during the month of June.

The consultation will close Friday 30^th June.
