A couple in their fifties have escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown through the window of a house in Larne.
It happened in the Ardclinis Gardens area at around 3am.
The bomb was thrown into the living room where it ignited.
Police say the residents, who were awoken by the breaking glass, managed to extinguish the flames and alert emergency services.
The pair were unhurt
