Four more people have died after testing positive for Covid-19 with three of the deaths occurring within the most recent 24-hour reporting period.
A further 2,987 positive cases have been reported in the past 24 hours.
In the past seven days the highest percentage of new cases has been among those aged 35 to 39.
There are 476 people who have tested positive for Covid in hospital, of whom 12 are in ICU with six of them being ventilated.
Ten hospitals are operating over capacity and there are 171 care home outbreaks.
The death toll since the pandemic began stands at 3,160.
