Two people have died after contracting Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest figures from the Department of Health.
A further 3,879 positive cases have been reported in the same period.
There are 402 Covid-positive people in hospital, with 24 of them in intensive care.
The death toll since the pandemic began stands at 3,056.
In the past seven days the age group with the highest percentage of positive PCR tests was five to nine year olds.
