"Dregs of society" burgle elderly couple in Warrenpoint

The PSNI has described the burglars who attacked an elderly couple in Warrenpoint as the "dregs of society".

It happened around 8pm last night on Elmfield Villas.

They grabbed the woman and threw her to the ground and held the man by his throat.

Less than £100 cash, a mobile, jewellery and a wallet were taken.
