PSNI Officers are appealing for witnesses after a group of young people threw objects at a moving car near Antrim, causing minor injuries to the people inside the vehicle.
It happened at around 6.15pm on Monday 1st October.
Police say the female driver was travelling along the Oldstone Road in a Silver Nissan Note at the time.
As she approached the junction with the Seven Mile Straight, several young men threw items at the car.
This forced her to do an emergency stop and caused minor injury to herself and one of the passengers.
Minor damage was also caused to the bonnet and roof of the car.
A spokesperson for the PSNI says, " Had the driver not had the instinctive reaction to stop suddenly the results could’ve been a lot more serious."
Anyone with information regarding the incident can call 101 and quote reference number 1197 01/10/18.
