A man in Clogher was arrested for a number of offences, while he was stopped during a routine traffic stop and tried to run away from the officers.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said it became "interesting" when he wouldn't speak to them and decided to make off on foot, before they caught him.
"Needless to say he didn't get too far and was detained by the two officers who had initially stopped him.
"One of our K9 dog units was also nearby and was quick to offer assitance.
"One male arrested for a range of offences. One vehicle off to the scrapyard.
"We’d like to say thanks to the passing motorist who stopped to offer us assistance top work Sir!"
