A man has been arrested in connection with a car hijacking in Coalisland, Co. Tyrone.
It happened in the Derryvale Road area of the town at around 6.30am on Sunday morning.
Police say a man had been driving close to 'The Vale' area when he was flagged down by an unknown man asking for a lift.
The man claimed to have a knife and threatened the driver, ordering him to get out of the vehicle which he made off in.
The driver was left uninjured but badly shaken by the incident.
The car was located a short time later.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of hijacking and remains in custody.
