An election hustings event for the South Down general election candidates is to be held in Warrenpoint on Thursday.

Hosts Unite are urging locals to attend and put their questions to the candidates.

So far the SDLP's Margaret Ritchie, Andrew McMurray for Alliance and Sinn Fein's Chris Hazzard will they'll take part.

The DUP's Diane Forsythe has not yet confirmed.

And UUP candidate, Harold McKee is unable to take part.
