Police in Derry/Londonderry are appealing for information following a theft from a van parked in the Fahan Street area of the city on Friday, 26th January.
Constable Johnston said;
“It was reported to Police that at approximately 11:00 pm entry was gained to a silver Ford Transit Van parked in Fahan Street.
"A Hitachi Nail Gun NK900 and a Dewalt 18v Combo Drill were then stolen from the vehicle."
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin Councillor Colly Kelly has slammed these thieves saying, "it's scandalous that anyone would target people who are out working hard trying to make a living.
"I would appeal to people across the city to report it straight away if they are offered tools and machinery at low prices."
Anyone with information regarding the theft can contact Police at Strand Road station on 101 quoting CCS 535 29/01/2018.
Alternatively, information can be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
