Firearm seized during searches in west Belfast

A gun was seized during a series of searches in West Belfast on Thursday night as part of a probe into dissident Republican activity.

Other items, including money and a quantity of drugs were also seized from the Andersonstown area.

The searches were carried out by the PSNI's Serious Crimes Branch.
