Firefighters are trying to stop a major gorse fire causing widespread damage to woodland on the Glenshane Pass.
Group Commander, Mark Smyth is from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue.
The blaze broke out early yesterday morning... before spreading to a form a front which is now just under a mile long.
Just caught up with @NIFRSOFFICIAL for @qnewsdesk as blazes continue to spread near the Glenshane Pass. Mark tells me teams could be here for some time. Some team members sleeping during break due to the full morning of physical graft, others loading up on water. Amazing effort pic.twitter.com/Tfg1mVBav9
