Five people came into difficulty last night after their boat lost power and went adrift on the River Foyle.
Search and rescue crews were tasked to the last reported location of the vessel shortly before 6 am.
They prepared for a transfer of crew and planned to place the vessel under tow
However the incident was stood down when the boat was found to have drifted safely to harbour.
In a post on social media, a Foyle Search and Rescue Spokesperson said:
