Further appeal for witnesses after shop robbery

An appeal for witnesses has been reissued after a robbery in the Bogside area of the city.

The appeal follows the robbery at a shop on Westland street around 2am on the 19th of November.

A 28 year old was arrested and charged in relation to the attack on the premise.

However, police said a number of people where in the area at the time.

They want to speak to those who witnessed the incident as they may have information which could assist the enquiry.

Constable Lisa McKernan said: “If you can help please contact the Reducing Offending Unit on 101 ext. 57015, quoting crime reference 115".
