A GAA all star's said a cash boost for women's sports should be targeted wisely.
Armagh ladies football player Caroline O'Hanlon welcomes Sports Minister Paul Givan's announcement last week.
She says women's football made "great strides" with television broadcasts.
But she adds there's no point if adolescent female sport isn't targeted.
Mr Givan said the two hundred and fifty thousand pounds investment is to "encourage greater participation".
