Investigation after patient death before discharge at Royal Victoria

A patient at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital has been found dead as they were about to be discharged.

The Belfast Health Trust says it's opened an investigation after the patient died yesterday.

In a short statement, it's described the circumstances as "tragic".

The Trust has told Q Radio everything is being done to "support those involved at this very difficult time"
