Investigations are continuing after a car hit a police officer and member of the public in Portadown.
It happened while a parade was taking place on the Drumcree Road yesterday afternoon.
The car failed to stop and was abandoned a short time later at Churchill Park.
MLA Carla Lockhart says there could have been carnage:
Police investigating incident in which silver Seat Alhambra car drove through parade at Drumcree Rd in Portadown around 1pm today striking officer and member of the public. No serious injuries thankfully. Car later abandoned at Churchill Pk. Info to 101 quoting ref 1139 04/08/19.
