A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm after a man was shot by three masked gunmen in Newry has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police say the incident took place in the Carnbane Industrial Estate area shortly before noon on Tuesday.
The victim, who had been getting into his car at the time, was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detectives are continuing to appeal to anyone with any information or dashcam footage in relation to the attack, to contact them at Ardmore Station on 101, quoting reference number 679 08/02/22.
