A man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court this morning human trafficking charges.
The 55 year old is facing charges of trafficking a woman into and out of the UK for sexual exploitation last May.
He was arrested on Wednesday by detectives from the PSNI's Human Trafficking Unit.
Detective Inspector Mark Bell, from the Human Trafficking Unit, said:
“This investigation has been running for a number of months and has involved enquiries in a number of jurisdictions.”
