A man has been arrested in Derry/Londonderry by detectives investigating the murder of police officer Michael Ferguson.
21-year-old Constable Ferguson from Omagh was shot dead while on duty in Shipquay Street in the city on January 23 1993.
The 51-year-old suspect was detained under the Terrorism Act today.
He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
